Lately Hollywood has been increasingly producing films with multiple stories from different characters who just across the road from each other. Most of these films tend to be sometimes funny and sometimes dramatic and generally bringing stereotypical characters.

"What to Expect When You're Expecting" brings these elements and "enhances" them with pregnant women and babies. We follow some couples who become pregnant or who want to adopt a baby. Couples that these are formed by a well-known and diverse cast.

The Couples: A personal trainer and host of a reality show and a professional dancer (Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison), the owner of a shop and a children's dentist utilities (Elizabeth Banks and Ben Falcone), this last being the son of a former NASCAR driver who is married to a woman much younger than he (Dennis Quaid and Brooklyn Decker) that this in turn is a prima dona of a trailer food that has an affair with a boss of another food trailer (Chase Crawford and Anna Kendrick). There is still a photographer and a famous music producer (Jennifer Lopez and Rodrigo Santoro) for this to get a sense of how to be a father walking with "The Guys".

The characters are developed as the pregnancy unfolds for each couple and is easy to predict that there are some extraordinary coincidences, forcing a bit. The film also needs to complete several clichés stories and loses too much about it. Although, at various times, is to be funny in others, and even a little boring dragged and sometimes the stories are more loose each other and so it takes force to make connections between them.

Among all stands the case of Elizabeth Banks (best I found in the film). Her character was a few years trying to get pregnant and when can plan everything as best as possible, but in the end things did not turn out as expected, she wanted the glow of pregnancy, but not the brightness reached only to the end, with the baby's arrival? Thus we can see that you never know what to expect when you're expecting!
