Review of What Maisie Knew (2013) by Ray J — 14 Jun 2013

This story hurts me deeply. There are so many children in this world who desperately crave stability in the home and they need it so badly. This movie captures, through the eyes of a child, how hard it is to understand parents with complicated and busy lives when all a child wants is love.

Onata Aprile is a fantastic little actor, carrying so much life and pain in her eyes. This isn't a movie you'll enjoy watching, but it's worth it.
