Review of What Maisie Knew (2013) by Ellen G — 27 Nov 2013
For me, this movie was about pretty people (everyone maybe except Coogan) trying to balance career and family. I liked how it left a lot of questions open, because it figures that a child wouldn't understand. Moore's acting was superb, and the other actresses wore really pretty dresses.
That said, I didn't find the movie offering any deep insight into the human condition.
