Review of John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) by Ellen G — 30 May 2017

Not as good as the first, but certainly the best action flick since then. Expands on the world of John Wick, superbly choreographed action with new awesome characters, action set-pieces, better music and scenes crafted like artfilm but shot like a gritty action film of jackie chan years.

Loved it. Watch it if you're a fan of action films, wanna watch something exciting that isn't all CGI, shaky cam, thousand-cuts-per scene bullshit that has taken over the genre these days. Beautiful.

.not disappointed. The film gets better on repeat viewings. The story needed work though, especially the ending.
