An accurate look at the insides of a dysfunctional family told through the eyes of Maisie, a child looking for love from those around her. It's hard to watch at times, the selfish toxicity of her parents (Juluanne Moore and Steve Coogan) and how it pushes the child into the arms of strangers at some points is heart wrenching.
Highly recommended.
