Review of What Lies Beneath (2000) by James H — 01 Jun 2012
The way they do things with this movie is so bad. The plot is so crappy, not very original. There are twists at the end, but they're not that climatic. The acting is bit over the top from Michelle Pfeiffer, and the characters aren't very likeable.
There are only two scenes that scared me, and those were shock horror. When they tried scaring you visually, it was really lame and not scary. There were a lot of scenes that are really laughable and the film is really slow.
The ending was a bit stupidfor my taste. This isn't a very good horro film as it has so many flaws that leads to being laughable. Not very scary and not very original.
