Review of What Just Happened (2008) by Nikki W — 13 May 2009

The premise of the movie was original and had lots of potential, but as a comedy, it wasn't that funny. I wasn't really sure whether to take is as a serious representation of how hollywood producers worked, or whether it was making fun of the entire industry. Yeah, there's Bruce Willis and Sean Penn playing themselves, but there just wasn't quite enough to make it work. And hey, we all know Sean Penn's all about the integrity now-a-days.

Also, I really wished someone had warned me about the nudity, honestly, does -anyone- really need or want to see Robert De Niro looks like in just his boxer shorts?! I think just saying that out loud is enough to scare me into not watching.
