Review of What Just Happened (2008) by Don R — 24 Feb 2009

People in the industry loved this movie, but they expected the general public response to be so underwhelming that they only limited released it. I don't know why because it has the biggest stars in hilarious roles and is one of the most clever comedies I have seen probably since Thank You For Smoking.

Robert DeNiro is brilliant as the constantly crapped on producer, and I have never loved Bruce Willis more than in this movie playing himself as a complete douche. The ending is extremely pathetic which many people will probably hate, but I loved.

Of course I also liked the ending where the dog dies too.
