To go from the glitz and glamor of All About Eve to the dark and disturbing of this film was quite a shock to the system. Bette Davis was so good in this film, I was at times hating her and at other times feeling complete sympathy for her.
Joan Crawford was likewise amazing. Now this is a horror movie that does not need tortuous violent scenes to get you scared out of your wits. Watch it, you will be amazed.
