Review of What About Bob? (1991) by Jack W — 21 Nov 2010
One of the most underrated comedies I think ever. This film makes me laugh to the point of tears every time I see it. Bill Murray is at his absolute best as Bob. He is so good that at a certain point you start to wonder if his "problem" isn't just an act, and he's putting Dr.
Marvin through the ringer. And Richard Dreyfus is spectacular as the snooty, self absorbed Dr. Marvin. Both of these actors don't often get their due which is a shame cause they are consistently very good.
There are too many scenes worth watching again and again and it's all those little things that you catch after seeing it again and again. Just an awesome movie!
