Though it has more on its mind than being provocative and disgusting - and it's more of the latter than the former - the focus on boundary-pushing and shock value obscures what it wants to accomplish.
I'm not priggish or squeamish by any means, and I appreciate the work the actors did, but this film had me gagging, and not in an Andre Leon Talley kind of way.
