Review of Westworld (1973) by Douglas T — 28 May 2007
Yul Brynner as an unstoppable robot in a futuristic fantasy theme part, and our only hope is.. Richard Benjamin? His 70s porn-stache aside, Benjamin is fine in this entertaining, but flawed, 70s Sci-fi flick.
Brynner is the star of this show, though, aping his "Magnificent Seven" role to magnificent effect. Crichton is a bland director, and the material was done more ably in "Jurassic Park", but it's a great deal of fun.
