Review of Westworld (1973) by Nathan H — 19 Mar 2008
Yul Brenner, feeling right at home deep inside an electronic carcass, steals the show as a robot cowboy with a serious attitude problem. One of the first movies to explore the subject matter of humankind's uncertain control over technology.
As with many other futuristic movies set in the 70's, there is a great deal of kitsch entertainment in watching how film-makers of that generation portrayed the "high tech" future.
