Review of Westworld (1973) by Sara W — 26 Aug 2009
Apparently in the future the world's most advanced computer chips will all involve utilizing 2 bit technology and the androids will look like Yul Brynner from The Magnificent Seven. Westworld, although complex and interesting drags at times and is horribly dated with gigantic computers and awkward technology.
A strange film that just doesn't seem to take itself too seriously till the collapse of the park, Westworld in the end just felt like the tuneup to Crichton's future book Jurassic Park.
