Review of Westworld (1973) by Joey B — 20 Oct 2011
A great idea for a movie - mix robots and westerns! This movie works in all the right places and Yul Brynner as the robotic gunslinger is chilling. The world is fleshed out very well and there are other worlds in this theme park but the movie focuses on Westworld - where people can go to live out there cowboy/western fantasies - drink some whiskey, shoot someone or ride a horse YEE HAW! James Brolin and Richard Benjamin are a couple of friends that go to Westworld for a vacation but when everything goes haywire and people start dying there western dream becomes a nightmare and one of them must run for there life or be killed by the gunslinger.
This movie is a blast from start to finish...so hook on your spurs and throw on your cowboy hat and grab your ticket for a visit to Westworld.
