(Upcoming Review) Rating: 6.9/10 Overview: ... this was a really strange movie, as were many of the feature-length animated films of the early 90s. However, it still holds that nostalgic notion that things were kid friendly and innocent back then, reminding us now that we had it good back in the day.

The animation is fluid and appealing (though the perspective of some of the characters appeared to be a little bit wonky at times), and the music wasn't too bad either, along with the terrific voice acting.

Speaking of which, I still find it funny that the actor who played Walter, the gruff war vet from The Big Lebowski plays a bouncy, friendly and singing T-Rex in a kids cartoon. Good stuff aside, more work and feeling went into the animal characters than the human characters, and that's never a good thing.

This makes the human characters (the two children specifically) unlikable and UNBEARABLY ANNOYING. It makes you wish that these kids would just leave the movie so we can enjoy the dinosaurs more. If they would disappear from the film unexpectedly, no one would notice or even care.

Every single character needs the same amount of care, otherwise, you lose the connection with the audience. But, it's a kids movie, so the logic is not really something to bash too much. It's still enjoyable, and really brings the memories from your childhood back.
