Review of Werckmeister Harmonies (2001) by Sol T — 18 Dec 2007
Obviously beautiful cinematography and camera movement, which suited the, quite frankly, bizarre story. A challengenging film, probably needing another viewing to fully appreciate and the slow pace is not for everyone, a not for me at somepoints.
Despite this, there are some down right freaky scenes shot expertly. Technically brilliant - I'd like to find out how many cuts in the whole film.
