A delicate indie film that brings into perspective youth's inner desire for affirmation and independence manifested primarily thru their loneliness, as they learn to face the crude reality. "Wendy & Lucy" touches on a similar cord as "Paranoid Park", although Wendy pays for learning the lesson.
