Review of Wendy and Lucy (2008) by Nathália P — 13 Jan 2009

This is one of those films that feel like they're really happening. It all feels very realistic. It's down to Earth - it's not trying to impress you or anything: it's just telling a story about this girl, who might as well be someone you met in high school.

Michelle Williams gives a great performance without trying too hard, and that's the best kind. She says a lot with her facial expressions, rather than just words. Wendy and Lucy is not a masterpiece, but that's okay.
