Excellent film - stripped down of any hollywood glamour and glitz. it's a simple story with simple problems and situations. michelle williams is very good as wendy, a young woman driving to alaska for a job and a new life.
that short-sighted plan is derailed when she loses her closest friend and companion, lucy, a dog. her search for the missing canine becomes an exploration in generosity and perseverance. just be ready b/c if you're used to slick production and a lot of flashiness in a film then this isn't for you.
