Review of Welcome to the Dollhouse (1996) by Shaun G — 18 Nov 2007

Take a Napoleon Dynamite, replace his fucking ridiculous nonsense dialogue and replace it with struggling angst and earnest attempts to fit in and survive, then replace every person around him with fuckups who either hate him or use him.

The humor is dark instead of retarded, and there's a real message within in this film, as opposed ND, which has all its plot points cut to make it sillier. This comes highly recommended.
