Kristen Wiig is always appealing but she created a character so unlikeable, despite vulnerabilities and redeeming gestures, that it was painful to watch this. I think the problem was that her character was never established as someone you care about.

All you see are the excesses, the self absorption and the akwardness, without any sense of how she is different from before, what this means to her, what her goal is, etc. The sexual content was gratuitous and incredibly off putting.

A disappointment in general.
