Review of Welcome to Me (2015) by Jon C — 20 Jun 2015
Kristen Wiig carries the movie so well both disturbingly and dramatically.
This film is a real example of self-expression in a televised manner.
Whats the thing to do when you win the lottery...make your own talk show.
With Alice she tends to go much deeper than a lot of programs on TV; some unexpected, some even over the line.
She just tries to be honest as she can be even if it breaks so many taboos.
The program itself whatever it lacks in being perfect or very high-end still showcases Wiig's ability to emulate an unstable woman wanting to be heard.
