Welcome to Me is ultimately too shallow and thinly-plotted to recommend. Kristin Wiig, who has transformed into a remarkable dramatic actress, plays Alice, a woman with borderline personality disorder who wins the lottery and buys her own talk show.

Unfortunately, the plot doesn't really go anywhere and we never learn WHY Alice is the way she is. She becomes too one-dimensional a character, and it's a shame, too, because Wiig is so good in this role.
