Review of Welcome to Collinwood (2002) by Thomas E — 24 Oct 2013
I'm really surprised at the low ratings for this little jewel. I guess it's a matter of perception. I found this movie refreshingly funny from beginning to end. It has a markedly unamerican sense of humour.
Sam Rockwell is great in the lead role, but all the characters have been superbly cast. The cast alone makes the movie more than worth your while, but should also serve as an indication that this movie is heavily underrated.
The likes of William Macy and George Clooney rarely accept to lend their name to below average projects.
