Review of Weiner (2016) by Michael D — 03 Sep 2016
Documentary about a self-destructive pol is a somewhat engaging view of the need of a mob to find a villain, even if he's a touch pathetic. Weiner's transgressions were minor - sending explicit photos via text to 'imaginary' girlfriends - but the press helped the mob form.
Interesting study of a flawed man under great stress. Wait for it to become available on Netlix or Prime as it's not enough for a trip to the theater.
