Review of Weekend at Bernie's II (1993) by Jd S — 02 Jun 2012
Even more insanely preposterous than the original. This time, the oddly well-preserved corpse of Bernard Lomax is a fully animated zombie. Heres the catch: he can only be brought back as long as music is playing.
His "dance", The Bernie, is a bizarre yet entertaining thing to behold. You just know that somewhere Andrew McCarthy, Jonathan Silverman, and Terry Kiser are out there petitioning the studios for another movie.
They need to complete their vision of what might happen if you hung out with a corpse and got involved in various madcap situations. Since zombies are the rage these days, there's a chance it just might happen.
