Review of Weekend at Bernie's (1989) by Lisa Michelle A — 31 Dec 2009

Always a great film for a laugh, tho I do prefer the sequel alot more. From the moment Bernie ends up dead that's when all the fun begins!!!

The best lines:

Larry: "What kind of a host invites you to his house for the weekend and dies on you?".

Larry: "How do you like that? The guy gets laid more times dead than I do alive.".

Larry: "Man overboard!" [as Richard and Larry are trying to get away in Bernie's boat, Bernie's body falls into the water].

Larry: "I give it an 8.3!" [after Bernie's body flies over the balcony, looking like a high diver].

My Actor/Actress review:

Andrew McCarthy - such a funny actor.

Jonathan Silverman - just as funny as Andrew.

Terry Kiser - totally funny as Bernie!!!
