Review of Weekend at Bernie's (1989) by Charlie M — 12 Jun 2016
Two young working-class guys are invited to their boss's island beach home. When they arrive they find their boss, Bernie Lomax, dead. So they won't be wrongly accused, the guys decide to make Bernie appear alive, fooling his guests.
They soon find they were the intended target. This ridiculous comedy is definitely farfetched in premise but the physical comedy of Terry Kiser (Bernie) is well executed.
