Review of We Were Soldiers (2002) by Frankie S — 05 Feb 2011

Now, all war movies are like this. They all are very subjective to the victor of the war. although this movie briefly touches on a Vietcong's Soldiers personal life, I think a greater reflection of the enemy soldiers were needed.

The Viet soldiers suffered a lot more in this movie: them getting napalmed and carpet bombed.. But it shows the American suffering more- they didn't get napalmed, except the ones under friendly fire.

I don't know, the mood of this movie is antiwar but it is portrayed patriotic.
