Review of We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks (2013) by Thomas A — 08 Nov 2013
This is an insightful documentary to different facets of one of the most controversial figures in the early 21st century: Julian Assange. Though initially it starts off with portrayal of Wikileaks in a positive light, the director Alex Gibney seems to focus the latter part of the movie on how Assange's mistakes diminished the popularity of his whistleblowing organization.
This documentary has many exclusive interview clips with Assange (and people close to him), hence it is worth it to watch it.
