A sketchy club manager (Joaquin Phoenix) angers a notorious Russian mob boss (Alex Veadov). He has no choice but to turn to his brother (Mark Wahlberg) and father (Robert Duvall), two cops who are cracking down on organized crime.
There's been a lot of bad blood in this family, but they're forced to come together when times get dark. We Own The Night has an exceptional cast, but it suffers from its cookie-cutter script and boring direction.
Only the most diehard fans of police procedurals will enjoy this movie.
