Review of We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) by Tor M — 12 Jul 2012
Dark, sad, disturbing and depressing film wrapped in great shots and lovely colors and color usage. A tough watch that is pretty gripping where Swindon's fantastic performance is a main ingredient for it's harrowing feel.
It shows the power your child has, no matter how though things are. It's visually beautiful with a grim theme and with souch a fitting atmosphere you can't help but staying glued to the screen even if the development is really slow.
It's always interesting and you don't want to miss out on anything. Definitely worth a look if you're after some semi-dark stuff with an interesting, horrible theme - are monsters born as monsters, or do they become one?
