Review of We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) by Edmund O — 16 May 2013
A disturbing, heartbreaking tale of a mother's unconditional love for her sociopathic son. The debate at the end of the film will undoubtedly be a discussion of nature vs. nurture; regardless, it's just gut wrenching to watch a mother's acceptance of Hell on Earth -- braving ostracism and scorn -- to just try, just once, to connect to her son.
A must see for any parent.
