Review of We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) by Stalin R — 12 Apr 2014
A riveting exploration of post-partum depression that tests the theory that parenting at early stages can have long-lasting impact on the child. The question of whether kevin would have grown up to be just as heartless had the child-rearing been different lingers long after the film.
Terrifyingly strong performance from Tilda Swinton - possibly her finest.
