Review of We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) by Dmitry F — 19 Apr 2014
Wow. This was a rough one. Very controversial topic, great actor play. The movie is mostly about children-parents relationships going beyond the south. How to control and can you control? I would also add that this is a movie about child-free being a great option for some, unintended pregnancies, failure to do a timed abortion (but I could find that in too many movies so don't take my word on it).
Lastly - the way "The Eyes Wide Shut" dissects the falling marriage, this movie is analyzing a falling apart mother-son relationships. An outstanding work!
P.S. I hate spoiling, but I have VERY strong feelings against the mother who brings her newborn son to the construction son to avoid hearing him crying.
