Review of We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) by Connor A — 20 Apr 2014
Good movie. A disturbing insight into the sociopath adolescent that is capable of the harrowing high school massacres that mar modern America and the ramifications these events leave behind. There was a point where I felt the film left the kind of social realism it built up behind and stepped a little too far in terms of being slightly OTT but overall this is still a very powerful piece with great performances (particularly Tilda Swinton) and is certainly recommended.
