This movie just didn't do it for me. And I really wanted to like it due to its country of origin and hopefully original point of view. But I was disappointed.

I couldn't sympathize with the characters (and maybe that's a good thing given...what they are!), and I thought it tried too hard to stand out, when it really just blended in the gooey mass of all other movies like it. And I thought it was overly tragic - you people are cannibals, not vampires! You can eat pork and lamb if you can't find human meat! A little realism would have been good. But the ending was interesting, and parts of it.

I want to say I'm impressed, but for me, it was yet another movie not worth remembering.
