Review of We Are What We Are (2010) by Tim M — 21 Sep 2011
Interesting, well-directed family drama. Never explains why the family are cannibals, what their ritual is supposed to accomplish or who poisoned the father. If they are killing to eat why did they dump the body, especially in front of witnesses? Lauded for it's social commentary, it's definitely an example of fine cinematography.
Sadly, it's naive main characters make it far from thrilling or compelling.
