Review of We Are What We Are (2010) by Alexander P — 10 Jun 2012
Interesting take on the cannibal genre, not seen a film on this subject in many years. Much better than the 80's gorefest cannibal films and this shows the family and human element involved in the horrific practice.
However the film is flawed throughout with some strange ideas and set-pieces and it seems as if the film loses its way half-way through and an ending just couldn't be thought up. Could have been much, much better.
