Review of We Are the Strange (2007) by River W — 26 Sep 2009

I just watched the Youtube version of We AreThe Strange. Well, it took a couple of days, cause I couldn't stand it after a few minutes, had to shut it down, only to come back to it after a few hours, and watch a few more minutes. I discovered that Youtube starts the movie up where you left off,even if you are gone a day or two. Cool. I kept watching it cause I am interested in what other animators are doing, And it has some strange attraction, you are not really sure of what's going on but for some strange reason, you want to see more, maybe you can figure it out if you watch a bit more.

Well, it did end in a fairly clear and satisifying way, and it was very different visually, so over all I would say it was worth watching, maybe even worth going back and seeing again to see if it makes more sense the second time. It is kind of a nightmare/stream of consciousness disjointed movie.Very Stange!
