Review of We Are the Night (2010) by Clarence E — 19 Oct 2011
A German female vampire film (no male vampires allowed in this take!) that really unexpectedly stunned and floored me. There was quite a bit borrowed from lots of others: "Near Dark", "True Blood", "Interview with Vampire" and even "The Girl With.
.." film series, but it still felt whole-y original and fresh thanks to the style and world it inhabits. I would highly recommend to vampire film lovers, in fact I am putting mine back in mail to Netflix and gonna buy this for a keeper.
