Review of We Are Marshall (2006) by Gregb. — 29 Dec 2006

If I had to pick one thing to be critical about in this film, it seemed that McConaughey was trying too hard to get more out of most of his scenes. But, I admired the effort he put into the role, as well as his comments during interviews of how the story touched him.

I must admit I had a very difficult time watching, being an alumnus of Marshall. I was not as prepared as I thought to see this story. Overall though, they honored those who carried on, as well as those who parished.
