Review of W.E. (2011) by Cara L — 10 Feb 2012
The true-life dramatic forbidden romance on which this movie is based is entertaining and interesting in itself. The movie maintains the high romance while also showing some of the lows ---enough factual truth to ground this real life fairy tale and make it relatable.
Could have delved deeper and revealed more to engage the viewer emotionally (enough about jewelry and clothes already!!) , but not a bad effort.
