I honestly thought I would hate Wayne's World. I'm not the biggest fan of Mike Myers (I'm not the only one who has watched Love Guru and even Austin Powers was pretty mediocre.) To evermore cloud my optimism about Wayne's World was it's PG rating, I looked upon it as more of a child's film as oppose to the fully full blown comedy that it actually is.

It parodies so many generics within genres, that you can't help but to laugh. Though the thing that really takes these films from being okay too fucking awesome is Mike Myer's performance, he steals every scene with his goof ball expressions and stupid quotations, that actually do make sense. I love the connection between the characters and the audience, especially when it goes all Malcolm in the middle and it feels like we are in a documentary, and a funny one at that. I think both plot's are brilliant, even if the second movie becomes lost within dreams (which ruins the films honesty a little). Oh and I love the music within the film, it gives the film a great buzz.

Garf bores me though, he's annoying and not even funny. Sorry, but every solo scene, I was hoping for Wayne to bound in and save the sinking ship, but he very rarely came.

These film's prove that comedy is natural and that their is beauty within stupidity.
