Review of Way Out West (1937) by Rory C — 29 Oct 2007
Very good, but not the best, Laurel and Hardy outing, making you bark with laughter. Take for example the villain wellying the upturned bucket which the audience knows hides Ollie's head, the actress corpsing in the bedroom scene with Stan, or the antics with the mule.
You get the picture just from that. The admissions ticket is also paid back in full just by the sheer size of James Finlayson's double-take face.
