Review of Waterworld (1995) by Drum2Harmonize W — 01 Jul 2010

A few years ago, I saw this (in)famous film for the first time since its release way back in 1995. Has time been less or more kind to the movie that (pun unintended, really) almost sank Kevin Costner's career?

The answer is neither. 'Waterworld' was still very much how I remembered it - a movie with an intriguing premise that was compelling at the start but increasingly silly towards the end (alas). While it's by no means the turkey that many back in 1995 feared (and hoped) that it would be, 'Waterworld' is an okay-enough action-adventure that could have been better.
