Review of Watership Down (1978) by Adriano B — 27 Jan 2012
In the first half the pacing is rather dull ('cept for the wonderful creation myth opening), while in the second one conflict becomes more defined and thus more engaging: from Exodus to Odissey, a lot of things are going on in this animated feature, whose inspiration lies firmly near the root of a literature work.
Gory violence is always welcome, and the General villain is born out of the breed who meets his end leaving a sign on your memory.
