Forget the typical Disney formula of cute and fluffy and just go with what this film is all about, that the world maybe beautiful but it's not perfect.
Though people say it is not for kids, I think they are missing the point. This has just the right intensity that kids need to make them understand that the world can be dangerous, as well as the ecological undertones to the film, showing us what we are capable of and that's scary on its own. Watership Down is an essential view.
