Yes, yes, and yes -go see this, rent this, buy this, whatever works best for you! It's such an interesting little story that you will hardly regret your choice. The plot unfolds much like the ribbon tie on a delicious box of French truffles -you really, REALLY want to get to whatever is inside.
It's always interesting to watch a coming of age story because they display the awkwardness of our youth so well; this one, however, is poignant enough to make you feel it. Unlike other renditions, the plot is interesting enough to keep the adult viewer engaged, too.
At its best when enjoyed with girlfriends... and a little French champagne, of course.
